Killers and Thieves
Following my work on The Banner Saga, I was invited to join Stoic Studio again in 2017 to work on Killers and Thieves. They were preparing it for publication on Steam and I helped finalize the game for release - adding features, fixing bugs, and doing optimization work.
I worked extensively on optimizing the Lua and Unity interop code (critical for performance). I implemented UI features in Unity, gameplay features in Lua, integrated Steamworks API, and refined the AI for the heist mechanics. It taught me a lot about working with scripting languages and optimizing across language boundaries.
