Starfield

Starfield is my very first attempt at creative coding, made in 2019! It simulates traveling through space at warp speed - stars flying past you as you accelerate. The effect uses simple 3D-to-2D projection to create depth and movement.

This was the project that got me interested in creative coding and generative art - it's so satisfying to make visual effects with code! I built it with JavaScript and my demolib framework. It's licensed as GPLv3 and you can try the hypnotic star travel in your browser :)
