Like a Boss
In 2016-2017, I worked at Firehorse Studio on Like a Boss, their main mobile game. Like a Boss is an action RPG with a twist - you play as the epic Raid Boss at the end of a dungeon, crushing players (the heroes) as they come to steal your treasures. It was a unique concept that required interesting gameplay mechanics.
As an "additional" programmer, I was responsible for code refactoring, performance optimizations, bug fixes, and UI polishing - all the work that helps a game feel polished but that the main team doesn't have time for during active development. I created custom Unity Editor Scripts to streamline development operations and worked with NGUI, DOTween, and GSFU for UI and animations. This project taught me a lot about mobile game optimization.
