Game of Life
Game of Life is my implementation of the classic Conway's Game of Life cellular automaton, created in 2020. The Game of Life is a zero-player game where cells live, die, and reproduce based on simple rules, yet creates incredibly complex emergent patterns and behaviors.
I built it using JavaScript and my demolib framework. You can watch patterns evolve, create stable structures, oscillators, and even gliders that move across the grid. It's mesmerizing to see how simple rules create complex life-like behavior! It's licensed as GPLv3 and you can experiment with different initial patterns in your browser.
